HMR Streetfighter : First road test Jun 3rd, 2004

The 22nd of May marked the start up and first road test (on a private road!) of Roy's very aggressive streetfighter.Although not totally complete, (minus guards, detailing) it was complete enough to get a good idea of the power that's going to be available from this Blue Bomber!

A minor hiccup, as the fual tap died. A bit of fiddling and fuel was flowing. Initially going to run twin underseat pipes, now changed to a "stubby" alloy unit, to keep that nice R1 type tail unit looking sharp. Initial impressions of the power on tap from this 1216 beast are "fu#k me,IT'S QUICK!"

Roys biggest issue [apart form having to polish all that billet alloy?] is where is he gonna carry the 50 kilo bag of cement to hold the front down!! The big block GSXR motor is simply the gruntiest engine you can use, what a weapon, up in 1st, 2nd, 3rd...apparently, alledgedly!!

It'll no doubt take a while to tame the beast, but Roys in no rush...!yet!
