Workshop Basic Safe Practices course : BC1 May 24th, 2004

Owning a motorcycle is about freedom, power, control, learning, self preservation and that of others, its also about the “big smile” after a good ride”, sorry, but its also about bills! .

I have worked in many workshop types over the years from Service stations to F1, from European cars and motorcycles to Trucks and aircraft and the keys to successful work shops, in my opinion, are organization, safety first and knowledge and the right equipment. There are quite a number of motorcyclists out there who would like to work on their own machines as they have the time and would like to learn and save a bit of money at the same time!

H.M.R. is holding this course on the 2nd Wednesday of every month to help guide those that would like to understand workshop practices and how that knowledge gives a safe foundation to working on your own bike.

This course starts at 7.30 pm and goes until about 8.30. Numbers limited to 5 places per evening, the fee is $15.00.

Please book online by e-mail or telephone Jane or myself. Coffee and biccies provided and bring something warm to wear in the winter months! If you have any questions about your machine feel free to ask.

More advanced courses will be released in the near future qualifying for these courses requires the completion of BC1.

Should a course be cancelled a notification will be posted on www.handmaderacers.com in the “news” section.

Best regards,
Jim Mott
